The Big Shout

Thinking of a career in Event Management? Gain some useful experience by getting involved in planning the Big Shout Celebration Event.

Brathay are running the Big Shout Celebration Event which will be held in Ambleside on September 19th, they need young people to form the management group for that event.

What will you do?

· You will need to come to Brathay for a day at the beginning and a day at the end of the summer hols to meet with the rest of the team to make decisions and move the event on.

· Have local meetings approx. every fortnight with management team young people who live close by.

· Keep in close contact (via 'phone, e-mail & Facebook) with the other members of the management team.

· Help create and distribute a questionnaire for young people to have an input into what they would like to see at the event.

· Help with all planning of the event itself, i.e. sourcing entertainment acts and working out food budgets, making a transport plan for getting up to 600 yp to the event!

· Be there on the day to help ensure smooth running of the day.

BBC Blast in Whitehaven
