Connexions Cumbria

Connexions Cumbria provides information, advice, guidance and support to all young people aged 13 -19 and up to the age of 25 for young people with learning difficulties and/or disabilities. Every young person can use the Connexions service to get the help and support they need to make the right choices to succeed in life.

Resources are also available at the Connexions Centre to help you explore your ideas about subject choices, career ideas, higher education choices or personal issues. They provide free internet access as well as computer software products to help you make decisions/choices.

You can contact a Connexions personal adviser by phoning their free phone number 0800 435 709 or arrange to speak to someone face to face at your nearest Connexions centre. They are also open on Saturdays at a number of centres.

Connexions Cumbria works with young people and it is important that the people who use the service are part of developing the service. Connexions Cumbria takes what young people say very seriously and they listen carefully to young people giving them a say in the delivery and design of the Connexions Service in Cumbria.

They also provide other ways to help young people including the W2W programme helping young people overcome transport problems
