vinvolved Cumbria is a project which aims to get young people aged 16-25 involved in volunteering based on their own individual passions - sports, arts, children, music, the environment, etc. Any young person who wants to volunteer can be involved. Volunteering commitment time ranges from doing one-off half day taster sessions, a few hours a week or full time for 30+ hours per week.
The vinvolved team can help you find a volunteering opportunity that matches your interests whilst benefiting the local community at the same time. You can also join the Youth Action Team (YAT) where you will have the opportunity to help develop, influence and support the vinvolved programme and put into action your own ideas of how to improve the volunteering experience of thousands of young people throughout Cumbria.
Through your volunteering you will get nationally recognised certificates and the opportunity to take part in training and other events.
