There are countless requests for young people to get involved in consultations, TV programmes, debates, surveys etc. There are some great schemes and competitions available for young people to enter. We Need Young People is a way of collating them. Current examples of opportunities include Penguin books wanting music and book reviewers and student diary writers for BBC website.

Leonard Cheshire Disability run the Adventures youth club in Barrow and is for young people with and without disabilities. the group is for age groups 11 to 25 and offers a lot of activities to do such as, music workshops, indoor and outdoor games, playstations, computers, residentals, life skills and much more.
