Description: The British premiere of an aerial show by Voala from Argentina, who use the sky as their stage. The performers play out a striking and lyrical show 100 feet above the audience's heads, with live music and dramatic acrobatics. The event is part of Reach for the Sky, a series of six large scale outdoor events across the Lake District and other parts of Cumbria.
Event: The Banquet featuring Transe Express
Venue: Carlisle City Centre, Cumbria CA3 8JE

Description: French performers Transe Express will appear as part of a public banquet in the centre of Carlisle. Live music and dancing in the streets will build towards a stunning finale in which a troupe of drummers will be hoisted high into the sky to create a giant human mobile, beating out the rhythm of the night amongst the stars. Event: Castles in the Air featuring The 'Castellers de Vilafranca'

Description: A team of 100 human castle builders from Catalonia in Spain will be literally reaching for the sky in the centre of Penrith. The Castellers de Vilafranca will be making their first visit to the United Kingdom to give a display of their extraordinary humantower building, a tradition from the region of Catalonia that dates back to the 18th Century. The event is part of Reach for the Sky, a series of six large scale outdoor events across the Lake District and other parts of Cumbria.
Event: Walk to the Stars featuring Sky Productions
Venue: Maryport Harbour, Maryport, Cumbria CA15 8AY

Description: A spectacular double high wire walk across the harbour in Maryport in the Western Lake District. French performers Ramon Kelvink Jr and Jade Kindar-Martin will undertake the death-defying walk more than 60 feet above the audience as part of an exciting evening of free top quality street theatre and circus. The event is part of Reach for the Sky, a series of six large scale outdoor events across the Lake District and other parts of Cumbria.
Event: Corazon de Angeles by Theater Tol
Venue: Whitehaven Harbour, Whitehaven, Cumbria CA28 7HW

Description: Belgian performers Theater Tol will take to the air on the harbour for a breathtaking and beautiful wedding in Corazon de Angeles and everyone is invited. As the bride and groom dance and fly high together, they are visited by fabulous fairytale characters and serenaded by musicians. Finally they accept a special gift, a company of angels to protect them and their dreams. Description: Zircus Plus will feature around 20 of the best and most exciting modern circus acts from across the world, with everything from tightwire and slackwire to jugglers and fire eaters as well as acrobats and tumblers. Topping the bill will be Quidams from France with a night-time performance on 30 May of their delightful and highly acclaimed show Herbert's Dream (La Reve d'Herbert) featuring large ethereal characters standing 4-metres high and strange bewitching music.
